COMMUNITY MINISTRIES
At Playgroup at Grace, our mission is to serve Jesus by fostering a warm and supportive community for children and families.
We want kids to know that God created the world and everything in it, that He made and loves each of us, and that He sent His Son, Jesus, as a special gift.
Our program runs every Wednesday at Grace Ballarat, starting at 10:00 AM with an engaging session filled with
singing, dancing, rhythm songs with instruments, and rhymes.
Parents and carers are encouraged to join in, as this interactive time helps children develop speech, hand-eye coordination, listening skills, and movement.
What to Expect:
Story Time – A short, engaging story presented in different formats to capture children's attention. Parents and carers are encouraged to sit with their children, helping them learn to sit quietly and enjoy downtime—an important step in kindergarten readiness.
Morning Tea – We provide a nutritious snack for children, including a selection of freshly prepared fruits, vegetables, and a sandwich. Please remember to bring a piece of fruit and your child’s drink bottle each week.
Adult Morning Tea – Parents and carers can enjoy a delicious selection of homemade treats alongside their hot or cold drinks, lovingly provided by our church family.
Free Play & Activities – After morning tea, children can enjoy free play or take part in a small craft or organized activity, encouraging creativity and social development.
